Our XNR-400 MFR Melt Flow Index Tester is designed to measure the melt flow index of polymer materials in accordance with ISO 1133, ASTM D1238, y normas ASTM D3364. It is an essential tool for evaluating the fluidity, viscosidad, and other physical properties of plastics in their molten state.
This tester utilizes a high-temperature heating furnace to melt the test material under controlled temperature conditions. The molten material is then extruded through a specified diameter hole under a prescribed load. The melt mass flow rate, expressed in grams per 10 minutos, is calculated based on the weight of the extruded sample segments.
